How would one calculate the forces on a submerged object (depth=30ft)? I would like to determine what the expected forces at that depth from the standard “worst-case” (e.g., 100-year storm) and what is the probability/risk of these floating piers (air-filled ballast tank) moving, “walking”, breaking apart, etc. at depth?
