I have a project that needs 400 MM end bearing piles to be driven along flowing river bank and in the bed as part of the construction of a Bathing Ghat. The design is a cluster/grid of piles at equidistant of 5M,with pile caps and connecting beams. The conventional method of drilling with tripods is possible on firm ground,however placing the tripod in marshy edge of the river is the issue.Filling and then removal/excavation of material is not economical. Coffer dam again is not feasible as the length of the Ghat is 400 Mtrs along the river bank and the distance is 5 mtrs. between the piles.
Is there any method that a tripod/JIG can drill with hammer in CANTILEVER position 5 mtrs or more and beyond from the machine.position without any issue/danger.
Any machinery that is available on hire that can do this job.
