How to measure the silt contents of stone dust being used as fine aggregate in conc. mix.
Some of observations:
Stone dust lies in grade-II zone as per sieve analysis.
%age passing through 75 micron IS Sieve found less than 0.1%.
%age fine measurements ( as per standard procedure of river sand) comes out to be 25 to 30 %.
Where as our silt content limitaion is 8% only.
Our conc. cube strength comes quite good.
