Dear Sirs, Please help me in finding load capacity of floor. It is ground floor and need to place 25.63sqmt stand-alone machine without specific foundation. Requirement is of 4.5MT/sqmt load capacity of the floor. How should i go about in testing such load capacity of existing floor? or what concrete mixture layers needs to be prepared for such weight? Dear Sir, I am working on a residential project (G+6) as a structural engineer. I am confident about my structural engineering knowledge in dealing with building design, but I am finding it a bit difficult to asses the bearing capacity at the site. Could u pls suggest how should I judge it at site, and less expensive method for assessing the bearing capacity at site. Going for soil exploration and boring is a bit costly affair.
