Dear Sir,
What would be the lap length of a reinforcement steel(25 dia.); if it will be done by mechanical welding method. In IS code the length is not mentioned is not mentioned But, procedure is there.
hi mishra ji,
in mechanical welding of reinforcement bars there is no need of laps. just weld bars by properly made butt weld
concret cubes you have made and sent off for independent testing have failed.what steps should be taken to enable tracking of the tested concrete back to pre delivery by the ready mix company and the quality standards that should be in place to prevent such occurrence.
Dear Sir,
I ‘ve completed my B.Tech in civil engg…i would like to go for some courses ie as an additional qualification apart from M.Tech could you please suggest some course which would be beneficial for my career..
Dear Sir
I have done my B.Tech (Civil Engineering) from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar in 2009.
Now, I want to setup a manufacturing unit of concrete interlocking tiles, paving blocks, kerb stone, chequered tiles. Please give me some reference so that I can study the technical aspects of manufacturing of these items. Particularly, I want to know the mix proportioning, and about the admixtures that can be used.
Looking forward to your response
Thanking You

which one is better?and give the BS STD refferance
Hi Sir,
will you kindly advise me on how concrete behaves in water. i mean where you use concrete as
piles to go through the water volume and have your building on top of the water
thanks
