We are going to construct a sludge chamber here in the water treatment plant. Pile driving will be the first in our schedule. My question is this, what will be the effects of this pile driving activity to the existing structures and piping system surrounding the proposed sludge chamber? Is is safe to do pile driving? our construction site lies about 500 meters from a known faultline.

Hi Vincent,
Why we put asphalt mould in Marshal stabilometer in vertical position( Thickness on top) ?
To Alok Kumar Jha,
Marshall stability test creats an unconfined condition for test specimen and i cna be achieved by putting the mound in vertical position.
This test apparatus was developed by US Corps of Army which simply adopted this mode of puting asphalt specimen.
