My question is more of a site development question, but I was wondering what I need to consider when creating a cost analysis for sub-dividing land? (A list of costs would be great.)

Dear Sir,

I have a small outstanding in my project..

We are installing rebar beam in ramp. unfortunately my T19 steel bar already out of stock so, I decide to convert my T19 rebar in ramp to T16.. the result is I put /install 4 nos of T16 for the top bar and 2 nos of T19 & 2 nos of T16 for the bottom bar..

So the consultant isn’t allow the convertion, the reason is that the consultant didn’t want that in one span of beam, there must not have 2 number of different steel bar size…

So far I never read or hear that any code (BS or ACI) not allowed regarding that case..

Please advise..

D Rees says:

Are there any long term effects of over retarding concrete?

A retarding admixture was mistaken for plasticiser at the batching plant and 12m3 of concrete was cast into the pour. The concrete was retarded for a period of 2 weeks but eventually achieved a cube strength of 40N.

abhimanyu says:

Plasticizers for concrete increase the workability of the wet mix, or reduce the water required to achieve the desired workability, and are usually not intended to affect the properties of the final product after it hardens.
