i have discovered a new type of reinforcement that has been used in many rural areas for the construction of slabs.the idea is simple they put the steel bars in such a way that the bars appear hanging out of the roof much as a little arch after the slab has been laid. the slabs that are constructed are in horizontal direction but having a bulge as well as a group of steel bars coming out of the arch shaped roof. the intention of the mass is not to construct an arch shaped house but all houses are constructed in the similiar mamner.we can say that the arch is concave from inside.i would like to ask if this method is scientifically approved or the villagers are practising a self made method for the constuction of the roofs. i am a civil engineering student .i would also like to inquire if i could publish a paper on this study
please give me the design mix calculation for M25 in pier footings, pier superstructure&pier cap
Design mix of any grade will remain same independent of it’s use. It is purely a statistical measure determined by experiment. Various methods are also available to determine the mix. Design mix calculation can be found in any Concrete Technology book used in B.Tech course.
