are there any differences between building works and civil works? are building works not part of civil works?
we are constructing platform with columns for furnace. since there is lot of heat produced during process should we use any special cement. can you please recomend along with supplier address

We will be casting CORELOCS for a breakwater project (in Oman). Our Contract specification states concrete of grade 30 MPa (cube str). However Coreloc technology provider has specified 45 MPa (cube strength) for casting in their technical literature. Please can anybody inform me what grades are used currently for Corelocs in projects in India….

I have come across few articles on the internet about the use of NANO-SILICA in concrete mixtures and how it helps in reducing cement usage, increases density, compressive strength etc., Can you please guide me in designing a concrete mix with nano-silica so that i may be able to take my intrigue to research.
pl give us the correlation between UPVT results & concrete strength. Can any body say based on UPVT results that concrete is poor quality???
