sir.. i am 3rd year student of civil engg.. i need information about “MY ONE SHUTTERING “……pls somebody help me.
how can i calculate the weigjt of 10 m long 15mm dia steel bar????????/
compute the volume of your steel [10m x 0.7854 x (15/1000)^2] and multiply it to the density of the steel (7850 kg/m^3)
You can use formula..
((d x d)/162)* L
where d is dia of bar, L is length of bar.
As per standard diamenion of reinforcing steel bar, following bars are available…
6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 16mm, 20mm, 25mm, 28mm, 32mm

The design of a concrete mix requires 1173kg/m3 of gravel in SSD condition, 582 kg/m3 of sand in SSD
condition, and 157kg/m3 of free water. The gravel available at the job site has a moisture content of
0.8% and absorption of 1.5%, and the available sand has a moisture content of 1.1% and absorption of
1.3%. What are the masses of gravel, sand, and water per cubic meter that should be used at the job
site? sir please its real urgent……….
